The band rehearse on Wednesday evenings 7.30 - 9.30pm at St Peter's Church, Allison Road, Broomhill, Bristol BS4 4NZ map
Players currently below the standard of the Concert Band are welcome to join our intermediate band - Untrained Melodies, with the opportunity to move up to the Concert Band as they improve.
Swings Cool is a monthly session of playing Swing Band music where the focus is on playing together for fun rather than public performances. New players are welcome with or without experience of swing music. We are also able to accommodate instruments not normally associated with swing music.
If you don't currently play a wind band instrument but would like to learn our learner band programme could be for you, players with a little experience may be able to join at any time of year, with complete beginners starting each September.
The band has a number of instruments for loan, either for learners, or larger instruments for use in the concert band.
